let's coil river-worths of wire
up inside the plastic boxes
and watch them flow with the hot yellow
of thoughts and the blood of thinking;

let's wind the many springs hard-tight
and screw in the airless tubes before
we punch the button and tell the sand
that we want to see what it will do.
